One of my favorite psychologists
Lev Semyonovich Vygotsky (1896 - 1934). He was a psychologist of Russian nationality. He was a great writer; his publications covered such topics as child development, education, psychology of art and language development. He was a key author in developmental psychology, also made significant contributions in the field of neurophysiology and of course among the most important things he did,Vygotsky, was the foundation of the historical-cultural psychological approach. One of his main theories and the one that interests me most is the Sociocultural theory of cognitive development. This theory emphasizes the idea that the proactive and collaborative interaction of children with their environment results in the correct cognitive development in the child.
